Cathodic Protection (CP) is a proven corrosion-control approach that helps protect oil & gas pipelines, marine structures, and storage facilities by reducing external corrosion risk and supporting long-term asset integrity. Moreover, CP works best when you combine it with coating condition knowledge, verified electrical continuity, and routine monitoring—so protection remains effective throughout the asset lifecycle. For pipeline CP programs, internationally used guidance covers CP design, installation, commissioning, operation, inspection, and maintenance for both on-land and offshore pipeline systems.
