The Food CoC Program is divided into two main parts:
- Pre-Shipment Inspection – Handled by TUV Austria India
- Sampling of products
- Product inspection and quality verification
- Container inspection
- Label verification (as per GSO 9/2015)
- Quality and quantity verification
- Container stuffing and sealing verification (as per Importer Requirements)
- Shelf-life assessment (as per GSO 150/2013)
- Monitoring of product and transportation temperatures
2. Document Verification and CoC Issuance
Labels, markings and instructions shall be legible, well stuck, and not easy to remove, unless otherwise specified in the applicable standard or national deviations:
- All food products should have Labeling requirements as per updated requirements of
GSO 9-2013. - Detailed Mandatory and Essential Marking requirements as per product category should
be available on specific food products. - Shelf-life requirements of food products shall be as per regulation GSO 150-2:2013
- All the Food Products Shipments adhere to Quality Analysis, Microbiological Testing
limits as per GSO 1016/2015. - The Maximum Permissible Limit for Pesticide Residues should be as per GSO 382
2021.
The exporter shall furnish TUV AUSTRIA INDIA with the following documentation:
- Request for Certification (RFC) along with a Declaration of Conformity.
- Commercial Invoice detailing the transaction.
- Essential documents including an Ingredient list with concentrations, Certificate of
Analysis/Test report (batch-wise), product labels/artworks, and a Hygiene certificate. - Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) Registration number for the product.
- Test reports exclusively from ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories.
- Corporate Quality Management System documents such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000,
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP),
or any similar certifications. - Halal Certificate from accredited bodies, where applicable.
- Slaughter Certificate from recognized bodies, where applicable.
- Certificate of Origin, where applicable.
- Health Certificate, where applicable.
- Establishment Registration with Qatar MOP
