Egypt Conformity Assessment Process
A Certificate of Conformity or Inspection is required for all regulated goods imported into Egypt. As a trusted partner of Egypt, TUV Austria India can help facilitate your exports under the GOIEC and NFSA conformity programmes.
TUV Austria is a trusted partner to the Egyptian government, with a mandate covering the physical inspection, sampling, and testing of goods at laboratories accredited as per ISO 17025.
Additionally, we can conduct factory audits to ensure production is compliant with Egyptian standards.
To assess the conformity of a shipment, the Verification of Conformity (VOC) process follows one of two routes, depending on the exporter’s profile:
- Route A for exporters with infrequent shipments
- Route B for exporters with regular shipments
