The Regulation establishes rules regarding the placing of EU fertilizing products on the market, amends Regulations (EC) no. 1069/2009 and (EC) no. 1107/2009 and repeals Regulation (EC) no. 2003/2003. It also introduces rules and conditions for affixing the CE marking to an EU fertilizing product. New Regulation (FPR) The new Regulation (FPR) establishes a common legal framework for fertilizing products in the form of a ‘conformity assessment’ mechanism, fundamentally changing product labelling requirements and the way in which fertilizing products are CE-marked. Producers, importers, authorized representatives and distributors of fertilizing products may market CE-marked fertilizing products such as organic fertilizers, organo-inorganic fertilizers, growing media or bio stimulants within the EU, provided they comply with the requirements of the new legislation. "European Union Fertilizer Products Regulation: 2019/1009"

From July 16, 2022, Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 for Fertilizing Products (Fertilizing Products Regulation – FPR) has been implemented. The Regulation establishes rules regarding the placing of EU fertilizing products on the market, amends Regulations (EC) no. 1069/2009 and (EC) no. 1107/2009 and repeals Regulation (EC) no. 2003/2003. It also introduces rules and conditions for affixing the CE marking to an EU fertilizing product.

New Regulation (FPR)
