Solution: CE Marking
Solution: CE Marking
In which region do you need this solution?
The CE mark is a conformity mark that indicates that products meet certain health, safety and environmental protection requirements within the framework of the European Union (EU) technical legislative harmonization.
The letters “CE” stand for “Conformité Européenne” (European Conformity).
The CE marking ensures the free movement of products within EU countries and assures consumers that the products are safe.
This mark is placed on the product as a result of the manufacturer declaring that the product complies with the relevant EU directives.
Why is the CE marking important?
- Free movement: Products bearing the CE marking can circulate freely within the EU without being subject to additional conformity testing
- Safety: Shows consumers that products comply with EU standards and are safe
- Market access: Facilitates manufacturers’ access to the European market
Which products require CE marking?
CE marking is required for many product categories, such as electronic devices, toys, medical devices, machinery, pressure vessels
