Solution: Iraq COC
In which region do you need this solution?
The Iraq Conformity Assessment Program requires all regulated products shipped from foreign countries to undergo pre-export inspection, testing, and certification. Exporters and importers must secure a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) to avoid delays, penalties, or shipment rejections at Iraqi ports and borders. Mandated by: Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC), Republic of Iraq
Documents Required to Apply for a CoC
To obtain a Certificate of Conformity from TÜV Austria, exporters must submit the following documents:
- Completed Request for Certification (RFC) Form
- Proforma Invoice (if available)
- Product Data Sheet and/or detailed product description
- Production details (e.g., Lot Number, Production Date, Expiry Date)
- Evidence of Compliance such as:
- Accredited Test Reports
- Halal Certificates, Health Certificates, Phytosanitary Certificates, Free-Sale Certificates, etc.
- Transport documents (Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, CMR — if available)
- Letter of Credit (L/C) (if applicable)
- Certificate of Origin
For exporters with regular shipments of the same product type to Iraq, product registration is highly recommended to streamline future approvals.
